Found 17 Cents Plus a Play Dime

In the past two days I found 17 real cents and 1 play dime. 

Yesterday I found 2 pennies then today I found 5 more pennies and a dime. Plus the little plastic gray dime.

Found Money Blog: 42 Cents Found Today

This morning I found a penny in the parking lot when I took out the trash. This afternoon I took a walk to the grocery store and on the way, I found a penny in the street, a penny at a fast food restaurant parking lot, a quarter in the street, then I went to the store. 

On the way home I found a penny and a dime under a bench at a bus stop, 2 pennies at a gas station by a trash can, and a 1955 wheat penny in the street.

Found 15 Cents at the Grocery Store

Today I walked to the grocery store, mostly just for the walk, but I bought a few fruits and vegetables while I was there. On the checkout thingie they provide for you to rest your purse, I found four pennies! Then I found a penny in the tray of the coin machine and a dime in the change tray of the copier.

Found 21 Cents Running Errands Today

This morning I met friends for brunch and in the parking lot I found 3 pennies. Then I went to deliver something I sold and found 2 pennies in a store as I was waiting for the person.

This afternoon I headed to the dollar store and found a dime and a penny in a parking lot as I walked to the store. Then I found a penny on the store floor and 2 more pennies on a sidewalk then 2 more pennies in a parking lot.

Found 28 Cents Again Today

On Sunday I found 28 cents and lo and behold, I found 28 cents again today!

This morning I had to go finish up a study I was doing for a skin care product and I stopped at the grocery store and dollar store on the way home. I found a penny on the floor of the grocery store then a nickel in the parking lot of the dollar store.

When I got home I found another penny in my parking lot (that's the third day in a row!). Find with me. My neighbors can just keep dropping money.

Later this afternoon I took a bike ride and found quite a few coins:

• a penny in the street
• 5 pennies in a bank drive through lane
• a dime at a gas station
• a penny in the street almost stuck in tar but I was able to get it
• 3 pennies in an apartment building parking lot

That's 28 cents (13 pennies, a nickel, and a dime)!

Found 23 Cents

This afternoon I took advantage of the fact that a lot of people would probably be watching that game and ran some errands. 


While I was out I found 23 cents! I found 8 pennies (on the floor of two stores, in a parking lot), a nickel (in a drive through lane), and a dime (in a parking lot).

UPDATE:  This morning (the next day) I realized I had another penny in my other pants' pocket so I found 24 cents yesterday, not 23 cents!

Found 45 Cents While Running Errands

This morning I had to run to the credit union and while I was there, I walked to the gas station next door. I found a nickel on the sidewalk in front of a pay phone. Then I checked the slots in the two pay phones and found a dime! 

Well, that was good, but I stepped back to look around and I must have been standing on these other coins. There was a whole mess of pennies and a few more nickels on the sidewalk! So after I scooped all of them up (38 cents total!) I walked around the gas station and found a penny in a parking space!

I was thrilled with finding 39 cents but then later at the grocery store, I found a nickel on the floor then a penny in the parking lot! So today I found a total of 45 cents! Yippee!

Found 43 Cents Riding My Bike

Well, that's not exactly true. I found a penny in my parking lot when I took out my trash then when I rode my bike I found the other 42 cents, but who's counting?

Anyway, here's where I found the 42 cents:

• a dime and a nickel in a bank parking lot
• a quarter in the street
• two pennies in a fast food drive through lane

I was pretty happy I found all the major coins! It's a little trickier getting the money I find when I'm riding my bike. I often see it as I ride by then have to stop and walk back to get it. It's not a problem, just a little trickier.

Merry Christmas from Found Money in the Street

I hope everyone had or is having a merry Christmas! I sure did! I'm tired though now.

I got a new bike for Christmas and took it out for a spin earlier. I'm sore! But while tooling around on it, I found 42 cents! Here's what and where:

• I first found a penny on a sidewalk.
• Then I found two pennies and a quarter in the street while crossing at an intersection. Good thing I was pushing my bike.
• Next I found a penny at a gas station then one at a fast food drive through lane.
• Next I found a dime in the street.
• Then I found two pennies in another drive through lane.
• I don't remember where I found the other penny.

And I didn't report a penny I found on Tuesday so will add it to today's total making it 43 cents found. Yay! This year was a great one for finding money. I'm eager to see how much more I find in the final six days of 2014.

Found 12 Coins Today Totaling 21 Cents

This morning I ran to the post office then on my meandering walk back to my car, I found several pennies in parking lots. Then I went to the dollar store and found a penny on the floor. That made 5 pennies.

Then I went to Walmart and hit the jackpot! Well, a small jackpot. I found 6 pennies and a dime on the floor, all near checkout lanes. One penny was near a guy's foot who was waiting in line. I didn't want to appear too eager so I moseyed along and when I came back, it was still there. I think lots of people just don't look down.

So I found 21 cents in all:  11 pennies and 1 dime. Yippee! And later I found a penny in the street.

I called a friend today and decided to take a walk while we talked. I'm glad I did since we talked for more than 2-1/2 hours! It was really productive getting in a good walk and chatting!
