Found $1.97 in Six Days

In the past six days I've found $1.97 in coins! Yes, it was all found in the usual spots:  at a bus stop, at a car wash, on the floor of stores, in change trays, at a gas station, drive through lanes, in the street and in parking lots, all over the place. 

I found this money this week:

• Monday:  none
• Tuesday:  72 cents including a folded over penny as shown on the left side of the photo
• Wednesday:  28 cents
• Thursday:  14 cents
• Friday:  41 cents
• Saturday:  42 cents

Found 43 Cents While on a Walk

Today I took a walk since it was such a beautiful day. We had a few days of cloudy, rainy weather and I hadn't been able to walk. Or more like it, I chose not to.

So, right away I starting finding money. Here's what and where:

• a dime in an apartment parking lot
• a dime and three pennies at a bus stop; one penny on the ground and a dime and two pennies on the bench
• two pennies at a fast food parking lot
• a dime in a bank drive through
• a penny in the street
• a penny at a gas station
• the rest are sort of a blur but I found the rest of the pennies in a fast food drive through, on a sidewalk, three in the street, and I just can't remember the rest

So cool! I posed the found coins next to a cup I painted with a lady's face.

Took a Two-Hour Walk, Found 38 Cents

Today I took a long walk, 2 hours, and found 38 cents:

• first a nickel in the street
• then a quarter in the change tray at the grocery store
• next a penny in the street
• then a penny near a car wash
• four pennies under a bus stop bench (A guy was sitting there so I went around to the back and reached under to get them; he never even noticed I was there.)
• a penny at a gas station
• another penny in the street

I just love finding money!

Took a Walk, Found 7 Cents and a Spraying Can of Soda

Today I took a walk up to a busy intersection with a McDonald's and a gas station on one corner, a bank and shopping center on another corner, and a big shopping center on a third. Here's what I found:

• As I was meandered through some parking lots, I found 2 pennies.
• At the gas station, I found 2 more pennies next to a gas pump.
• I crossed the street and found another penny in the dirt of a flower bed.
• Then I headed home and spotted a soda can under a bench at a bus stop. I rolled it out and it started spraying! Someone must have dropped it and yep, it was like a fountain! I didn't have my camera to snap a photo of it spraying. It was pretty funny! Finally I just popped the tab and dumped it out.
• On the street next to the bus stop I found 2 more pennies.

Seven pennies in all. And a soda can that cracked me up!
