February Coming to a Close with $1.15 in Found Money

I know, I know, there are a few more days left of February but I poured the money I've found on to my desk earlier today to count it. I found 25 cents today while I was out running errands and it made my little ceramic bowl I keep the money in till I write another post look downright full.

So, in the week or so since I last posted I found a quarter, 5 dimes, a nickel, and 35 pennies for a total of $1.15.

I can't recall any of it being especially exciting this time other than yesterday I found 10 pennies all in one parking space in a parking lot. I always wonder why? Did someone dump them their? Did they empty an ashtray with the coins in it? Did they know? Did they not know?

I'll never know but they're mine now!

Have you found any money lately?

I Was Surprised Finding This Money

The past week plus I've found some surprising money. Just the other day in a coin machine change tray I found two Kennedy half dollars plus some other coins. Who just leaves those lying there? Well, someone did and I found them!

I also found three foreign coins this time:  a British penny and two Canadian coins (a dime and a quarter).

So, I found $2.37 total plus the foreign money, which I don't count.

I just love finding money so it's always a thrill. Have you found any money lately?

Happy Groundhog's Day from Found Money

Happy Groundhog's day! In celebration, Mister Tom Cat and I went outside and watched about 6 squirrels scampering up the tall pine trees in our yard. Mister had been watching them from the front window, his tale smacking the window, he was so excited! So I slung him over my shoulder and out we went.

Mister is such a good boy (most of the time) and I'm tempted to get him one of these:

Doesn't it look like fun? (I know, if you're a cat.)

It's a beautiful day here and this morning I ran some errands. But I didn't find ANY money! Dang it!

In the past week or so though, I've found $1.98 in change plus 2 Canadian 25-cent coins. Yay!

Have you found any money, foreign or domestic recently?

Well, here we are. The end of another year. I think this will be the end of my found money blog. I think it's run its course, but I'...
