Found 13 Cents to End the Year

Today I was bound and determined to find some money. This is the last day of 2013, you know, so I wanted to add to my found money total for the year.

I drove to a nearby shopping center since I needed to buy cat litter, and I didn't want to carry a 14-pound container home! 
First I scoped out the parking lot in front of the grocery store but didn't find any money. So, I went inside and bought my stuff and took it to the car.

Then I walked around a bit then got on the sidewalk by the busy street. Nothing. I almost crossed the street to check the Starbucks drive through but it was so busy and noisy, so I didn't.

Then I walked in front of a few eating establishments and found this dime and three pennies in the middle of an empty parking space! Woo hoo!

I walked around more of the large parking lot on my way to my car but didn't find anything else. Dang. Greedy, aren't I!?

But I did end the year with a grand total of $32.52. That is more than double the $15.50 I found last year. I'm happy!

Today I found a penny in a parking lot. This brings my 2013 found money total to $29.50! I only need to find 50 more cents to have found $30 in 2013. This is by far the best year so far since I've been tracking my found money. I am fairly confident I'll find 50 cents within the next 29 days.

Found Two Pennies -- Set To Pass 2012's Total Any Day Now

Today I had the final check up for the current drug study I am doing. I'm glad! During the drug studies you can't do lots of things (have caffeine, take medicine even vitamins, exercise is limited, etc.). I have my life back! At least till I sign up for another one!

Any way, I found a penny in the parking lot when I was walking in to the study today. Then on my way out, I found a penny right by my car. Cool! I posed my pennies next to this cute little seal. He's wearing a ring I found, but I thought it sort of looked like a lifesaver.

I also wanted to let you all know that I am rapidly approaching my 2012 total already this year! And it's just May. Last year I found $15.50 and this year I'm now at $15.35! Any day now, I'd say.

Any wagers on when I'll pass 2012's total? Anyone?
