Found 14 Cents Today at the Grocery Store

Today I went to the grocery store and found 14 cents in the change tray! One of the pennies is an old wheat penny, a 1954 penny. The mint mark is S (San Francisco). I rarely find coins with the S mark.

I took my two grandkids to McDonald's after school and they found a ton of coins in the drive through at the first window where people pay. My granddaughter found 52 cents and my grandson 15 cents! I gave them each a quarter because I wanted one of the nickels she found. It was a 1954 just like the penny I found! What a coinky dink.

Today it rained here so I took a walk. The air felt so good--cool and refreshing. It even sprinkled on me a little bit. Felt great!

• 1 penny in an apartment building parking lot
• 1 penny in the street

Found 14 Cents Today in the McDonald's Parking Lot and Drive Through

Today I took a walk and headed over to the McDonald's to check out the parking lot (found a penny then a dime) and the drive through (found 3 pennies). It's amazing all of the money that gets dropped.

I think I'll go check out this flyer tomorrow at a car dealership. The prizes? $25,000 (enough to buy a Chevy Camaro, they say), $100, a $2 bill. I'll be happy if they hand me a $2 bill. Will report back if I go to let you know if I win big or small.

Found 14 Cents at the Gas Station

Today I went to the gas station and as I drove in, I thought I saw a coin on the ground in front of a pump. When I got my gas going, I walked over and I did spot a coin, plus there were four more! 

I found this dime and four pennies on the ground. Yay!

What a Great Day for Finding Money!

Woo hoo, y'all! I ran a few errands today and I made a hauling! Here's what happened:

I parked in the Dollar Tree parking lot because from there, I can walk across the street to the post office, which is a pain to get in and out of. I got out of my car and walked around the parking lot a bit near the store and spotted a dime! 
I walked over to the post office and once inside in line, I spotted a penny on the floor. I picked it up.

I mailed my packages then walked up to the light to cross the street. I walked through the 7-11 parking lot and found another penny! Then I stood at the light to cross and as I stepped off the curb, I saw a penny in the gutter! So, of course I picked it up. I walked over to the Dollar Tree so danged proud of myself for finding 13 cents!

I went in the store and bought a few things (I needed tater chips; yes, I needed them.). I didn't find any money in Dollar Tree, which is a shame. It's usually a good place to find a coin or two. I left the store and walked around the parking lot a tad bit more and found another penny!

Yes, I found 14 cents! I posed them next to some pretties I'll be listing in my Etsy shop.
