Found Six Cents Today

Today at the grocery store I found a penny on the floor first then as I was checking out I found a nickel in the self checkout register change tray. Yay!And the nickel is an oldie from 1959!

Found 6 Cents in a Parking Lot and Change Tray

This morning I took out my trash and found a penny in the parking lot. Then I went to Fry's grocery store and I checked the copy machine change tray. There was a nickel in there! Yay!

Found Six Cents On a Post Tax Prep Walk

Today I decided I'd put it off long enough. I did my taxes. It took two tries (second time's a charm). In between I took a walk to blow off some steam. I swear there may have steam really coming from my ears. I hate to do taxes!

Any way, on my walk, I spotted six pennies:  in a parking lot, in the street, in a drive through, at a gas station, in front of a car wash. That's just five but I don't remember where I found the other one. Doesn't matter. I found it!

Found 6 Cents in the Street

Today I ran a lot of errands (if you can call hitting half off day at two Goodwill stores errands). On the way to the second one, I was stopped at a stoplight and spotted the nickel on the street. It was right by my car so I checked to make sure the cop car that was stopped at the previous red light wasn't around, then I hopped out and while I was picking up the nickel, I saw the penny! Yay!!!

I had plenty of time to get back in the car and buckle up before the light turned green.

I found the fun pillowcases (floral and fish) and the snowman kitchen towel at one Goodwill. So cute. Not sure what I'm going to do with them. Maybe use the pillowcases to make some tote bags. The fabric is very pretty! And Mr. Snowman will have kitchen duty the entire month of December.
