Found 30 Cents on a Walk

Today I took a walk and found 30 cents:

• 5 pennies
• 1 nickel
• 2 dimes

I found three coins at a gas station, two in the street, two at two different fast food restaurants. Not sure where I found the other one.

Found Three Dimes on a Sidewalk

I've been dog/house sitting this week and stopped at the 99 Cent store today to pick up a lint roller. I'd forgotten how hairy everything gets so before I leave tomorrow I plan to use the lint roller to pick up stray dog fur from the sofas.

As I was leaving the store today, I spotted a dime on the sidewalk then another then a third dime! 30 cents!

Found Six Coins Today

This morning I went out to take out the trash and found a quarter and a penny in the parking lot! Yay! I talked to the rooster who has taken up residence here at our complex for a bit then fed him some bread.

Later today I found a penny in a parking lot next to a car, another penny on the floor of a store, a penny on a sidewalk, and a penny in the street while walking home from the store.
Thirty cents total. Not bad!

Found 30 Cents Today

This morning I found a nickel in our parking lot when I took out the trash then later I went to the grocery store and found a quarter on the floor. It was sort of wedged in under a refrigerated case. Woo hop, glad I looked closer!

Found 30 Cents and a Carwash Token

Today I went to the grocery store for a semi-big shopping trip. I often go when I'm out walking but I wanted to buy some things that were too heavy to carry home (jars of pasta sauce, for one). 

So, I walked around the parking lot anyway and I found a penny, then found a penny on the sidewalk in front of a store, then I found a quarter and a carwash token (Weiss Guys Car Wash!) in a change tray, then three more pennies at the grocery store. 

See how the two pennies in front (two are stacked up) are stuck together. Weird. Not sure if they're glued or what but they won't budge. Well, I just tried and they came apart after all.

Found 30 Cents But Only Brought Home 29 Cents

Today I sold some patches on Etsy so I had to run to the post office. I found a penny in the rocks just outside the post office!

Then I hit a Goodwill because it's half off day and I was already out and about. I found a penny on the floor near a cash register!

I walked over to Fry's, which is in the same shopping center, to get some fruit. I found a quarter on the floor near the self-checkout registers, a penny in the bakery area, and a penny near the cheese! 

This was a banner day! It really pays to go where people are! 

But a disappointing thing happened:  I actually saw another penny in the street, but it was stuck in the hot tar. From experience, I know better than to try to get those. Those coins are a goopy, sticky mess. So, I found 30 cents, but I only brought home 29 cents.

Found 30 Cents Today on a Walk and at Fresh and Easy

Today I took my magnet (like this one shown here) for a walk down an alley. I didn't get very far when I spotted a guy out spraying for weeds, I guess. Since I don't like an audience nor wanted to breathe that crap, I left and went to the next alley over.

I found a penny near a bunch of junk that people had dumped. Then pretty soon I spotted another one. I walked on and saw a quarter sort of buried in the dirt. I'm surprised I saw it. It is a mess. Then I found one more penny!

I was thrilled! I left and went to the library and picked up some DVDs and books. Then I went to Fresh and Easy. On the way in, I saw a penny in a change tray, so I snagged it. At the markdown section, they had $4.99 containers of grapes on sale for $1.57, so I got two! Then as I was walking to my car I saw another penny beside a car. Yay!
