Found 2 Cents Today

I went out to take the trash to the dumpster today and found a penny in some dirt. Then I walked around the block and found a penny in the street!

It's not much, but it's 2 more cents than I had before!

Found Two Cents

Today I ran to Carl's Jr. and found a penny in the street and a penny on the floor. Yay!

Today I've been culling some my old books that I've collected through the years. I can remember looking at library books sales, thrift stores, and estate and garage sales and finding these.

And even though I really like some of them, I don't need them. I never look at them any more, so it's time for them to go to a new home. Check them out on Etsy, if you'd like.

Found Money Blog -- Found 2 Cents on the 4th of July

This morning I took a walk because it cooled down overnight, I guess from the haboob (dust storm) that blew through the Phoenix area last night.

On the walk I found a penny in a drive through lane and earlier I found a penny in our parking lot. And here they are posed on top of a wooden handkerchief box. Isn't it pretty?

I hope every one has a great 4th of July!

Found Two Coins on a Walk and Left Two Coins

This morning I took a walk before it got too hot out. I once again trotted up to the fast food place, a great place to spot money most of the time, and on the way, I found a penny in the street. Then I found a penny in a gas station parking lot along the side, no where near the pumps.

Then I went to the fast food place and saw two coins in the drive through lane but there were cars backed up and I knew it would be purt 'near impossible to get them so I walked on. And one was a quarter! So so sad.

To make up for it, I guess, I sold this poster on Zazzle. Yay!

Found Two Cents This Morning on a Walk

This morning I set off and took a short walk since it wasn't miserably hot out. Only 82°F, which is still plenty hot. By the time I got home it was 90. But the high today was only 99°F, which sounds horrible, but I was just out there and it's not bad at all. I guess that's what happens when you live somewhere for awhile. You adapt.

Anyway, on my walk I found 2 cents.

I've been making some items to sell on Zazzle today using a photo of a couple of my cute stuffed guys from childhood. Aren't Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus so cute? I just love them and am happy to share them!

Found 2 Cents at Goodwill After the Nazi Propaganda Exhibit

Today I went to the downtown Phoenix library to see the State of Deception:  The Power of Nazi Propaganda exhibit. I'm glad I did. It's really scary how Hitler gained so much power and influence to do so much damage. It's there till June 1st if you're in the area.

Check the link above to read a post I wrote about it. I plan to write several more about how he ingrained hatred of Jews into children and quotes on display at the exhibit, among other things.

Then I hit the thrift store since it was half off day. When I walked in, I saw a penny on the floor by a check out lane. Several people were in line so I went about my business and checked later. It was still there! Amazing. Then I spotted another penny in the back of the store on the floor.

Found Two Cents Today - Found Money January 3, 2014

Today I went to Fresh and Easy and when I was walking up to the store, in front of a flower display, I spotted a penny! Then later I stopped at another shopping center and found the bright shiny penny shown here in a drive through of a donut place.

I posed my found money next to some mug rugs I made using a vintage embroidered dresser scarf. The lace was coming apart in several places and the embroidery thread isn't in great shape but I think it's perfect for some coasters. They're for sale in my Etsy shop.

Found 2 Cents on the Second of January

This morning I walked around a bit and found these two pennies in a neighboring apartment building parking lot. A man was welding a metal fence so I was looking away, but when he stopped, I glanced around a little and saw the telltale circles. I scoped them out and yes, it was two pennies!

Found Two Pennies Today

This morning I moseyed around the parking lot after I took out the trash and spotted a penny! Then this afternoon, I took a longish walk and found a penny beside the road.

I wonder how much money is lying around that we all walk right by each day. I'm guessing a lot!

These roosters were hanging around pecking the ground in a yard I walked by. They just kept on hunting and pecking, not minding me at all.
