Rounding out the Fall with a Windfall

So. I just keep finding money.

Just today I found a coin at the post office. I saw a little circle propped up against the wall in front of an empty counter while I was standing in line.

The postal clerk at the counter next to the empty one called me forward and after I gave her my packages, I told her I saw a coin and I'd be right back. Then I went to get it.

A dime!

With that dime my found money since last time I posted totals $10.34! Yay! Not bad for about 6 weeks of just spotting loose change around where I go.

This brings my found money this year to $51.28. Yippee!

I had to order some things on Amazon the other day (you know, the exciting stuff like vacuum sweeper bags and dishwasher soap), and I just found out you can buy gift cards on Amazon. Who knew? Probably all of you guys. I'm usually late to the party, but that's okay. Nothing new there.

With my pile of coins I found, there are five foreign coins! See them in the picture up there on the lower right side:  the large one is an Italian L100, Mexican $1 and 10 cent coins, a Russian 10 koneek coin, and a shiny Canadian penny. Love finding these cool coins.

I also found a 1945 wheat penny. Woo hoo!

How about you? Have you found any money lately?

Well, here we are. The end of another year. I think this will be the end of my found money blog. I think it's run its course, but I'...
