Found Three Coins Today

Today I found three coins:

• a penny in the parking lot
• a nickel at the dollar store
• a penny in the curb

I posed them on this 1960 edition of Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm book. It's for sale in my Etsy shop. Sweet!

Found a Dime in the Parking Lot

Today I found a dime in the parking lot. Yay!

I Couldn't Not Find Money Today!

Today I drove to my son's house to spend time with all three grandkids. I found a bunch of money today. Here's the where and what of today's found money (that I just kept finding!):

• 1 penny - It was in the street next to a car in front of me while we were stopped at a stoplight. No one was behind me so I put the car in park, hopped out, and picked it up!
• 1 quarter and 2 one-dollar bills - I found the black quarter on the floor at Goodwill then a little later found two $1 bills on the floor. Score!
• 3 pennies - I spotted these on the floor of the grocery store on the way home.
• 10 pennies, 1 nickel, 2 dimes, and 1 quarter - I walked around the parking lot here when I got home and first found a dime and quarter then was picking up some trash to take to the dumpster. I lifted a plastic bag lying on the ground and out fell the 10 pennies, nickel, and other dime!

That's a grand total of $2.89!

I feel like I should go somewhere else today. Several more places! I just kept finding money!

Found a Penny in the Street and Saw the Harvest Moon

I took a little stroll this evening about dusk and while walking near a busy street, I spotted this penny! It was in the street, which always makes me so happy since, well, you know, this is Found Money in the Street!

I posed it next to a painting page with the paint at the top. These are so fun to do! I painted this unicorn with my grandkids the other day (they did their own, of course).

Found a Penny, a Half Dollar, a Key, and a Guitar Pick in the Parking Lot

Today I took the trash out and wandered around the parking lot. I spotted this penny at the end of a parking space then kept moseying around. 

I had found some trash and was going to throw it away when I spotted the guitar pick and key behind the brick dumpster enclosure. When I picked up the pick, I also saw this Kennedy half dollar! Score! That's the first half dollar I've found.

UPDATE:  I went to Sprouts and found a penny on the floor as I was walking out of the store. Yay!

Found a Penny in Front of an Auto Parts Store

I took a walk today before it got dark (and isn't it getting dark sooner?). I walked up to a shopping center and walked around quite a bit of it. I didn't find anything on the way there or in the parking lot, but in front of an auto parts store, I spotted this penny. It was between the curb and parking bumper thingie.

Found 12 Cents While Out and About Today

Today I had to hit the post office to mail some fabric I sold on Etsy. While standing in line, I spotted a penny on the floor of a counter that wasn't in use. I was about fourth in line. I waited till I was first in line then went and picked it up. It just amazes me that other people never seem to spot money. Oh well. I'm not complaining! Then as I was leaving I saw the other penny in the parking lot between two cars. 

Then I headed to Sprouts for double ad Wednesday. I got some grapes, avocados, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, a red pepper, and chocolate-covered peanuts. Yum! I saw this dime on the floor by a check out lane. Yippee!

Update:  I took a short walk and found a penny in an office building parking lot!
