Found Three Pennies Today in a Parking Lot

Today I went to the Phoenix Zoo and visited some relatives (not really, but we used to always say that when I was growing up). It wasn't so hot today so it was enjoyable. It started getting hot when I left though and was glad to turn the AC on in the car.

Then I visited the library to return some books and picked up a few more. I love to read!

Then I headed to the dollar store. I got a few things and on my way out, I spotted a penny. I decided to walk around the parking lot some more and I found two more!

UPDATE:  I took a short walk this evening and found a penny in a church parking lot and a penny in my parking lot. Woo hoo! So, that's 5 pennies today!

This morning it rained! Yes! So, after it stopped I went for a little walk. I spotted this nickel in a parking lot and the penny in some rocks.

Found Two Pennies in Two Parking Lots

Today I ran to the library because I had a couple of books due. On the way in, I spotted a penny in the parking lot. Then I drove to Home Depot for some new air conditioning/furnace filters. On the way to my car, I saw another penny. I love finding money!

Found a Quarter at the Recycling Center

Today my grandkids and I went to the recycling center to take the aluminum cans that were taking over my car. I knew I had a lot, but I didn't realize how many till the guys said, "That's 16 pounds." So, quite a nice little haul!

As we were leaving, I saw something round, silver, and shiny on the ground near their dumpster. It was this quarter! I love finding quarters! And it's a brand new shiny 2013 Nevada state quarter.

We came home to veg out. It was so hot out that we almost melted! We watched October Sky. The kids really enjoyed it, and I've been wanting to see this movie again for awhile. It's so good.

Found Another 11 Cents

This morning I went out with Scarlett like I usually do. She walks to the grassy area to nibble on it (then she usually throws up later, which she did, but it was outside. Yay!). As I was just standing there minding my own business, I saw a penny in the rocks! Amazing! 

Then later I ran to the post office then to get my hair cut. No money. Then I went to Fresh and Easy. I spotted this dime on the floor in front of one of the check out lanes. Love finding money! 

Just the other day I found 11 cents. What a coinky dink that I found that amount again today!

Found a Dollar and Change

Today I felt really antsy so drove to the Safeway shopping center near me, which I never go to any more. I roamed around the parking lot and sidewalks in front of the stores a little looking for change. I didn't find any coins. I did find this dollar bill on the sidewalk in front of the Dry Bar. 

I was thrilled about the dollar, but curious about just who goes somewhere to get their hair blown dry. For $35. Crazy people, I'm guessing! Or at least people with more money than me!

Then I went into Safeway and got a few things. I found the two pennies in the pharmacy area. Yippee!

Found 11 Cents on a Walk

I took a walk and found a penny beside the sidewalk in some dirt then found another penny in a parking lot. 

As I was walking to my place, I found a small pile of debris in a parking space. In the pile were four pennies and a nickel! These coins are a mess as you can see from the photo. Oh well, good enough for my found money jar!
