Found a Penny in the Grocery Store Parking Lot

Today I ran some errands. First I went to the post office then to Fresh and Easy. Didn't find a darn thing. Then I remembered today is double ad Wednesday at Sprouts so stopped there. On the way out, I spotted a penny in the parking lot!

Found Two Scruffy Pennies

Today I walked around the parking lot and found a penny in some rocks and another penny in a parking space. 

The one I found in the rocks is a mess--gouged and unreadable. But that's okay. It's a penny!

Despite the Heat, I Took a Walk and Guess What I Found?

Today I ventured out around 6:10 for a short walk. It was still mighty hot but I just feel cooped up some days. So, I headed south today instead of taking my normal short route.

I spotted a penny in a parking lot of a daycare center! I found another penny there before. Must be so distracted parents or kids there.

Stopped at a Stoplight and Found a Quarter

Today I drove through Paradise Valley, a ritzy part of the Phoenix metro area. I was stopped at a stoplight and spotted this quarter lying on the street next to my car. I unbuckled my seat belt, opened the door and snatched it up! I guess they don't toss those pesky old pennies. No, in Paradise Valley a quarter is a pesky little coin!

I'm joking but this is the second time I've found money at this same intersection. The other coin was a dime. Both are silver. I'm fine with it!

Found One Penny Today at Fresh and Easy

Today I hit the post office, then the library, and finally headed to Fresh and Easy. I got a bunch of fruit and vegetables and other stuff. As I was checking out, I found a penny in the self-checkout change tray. Woo hoo!

I've found $3 more than I did all of last year. Woo hoo once more!

Found Three Cents on a Walk

I just got back from a walk. It's still 98 degrees F out there but it felt good to move and get some fresh air. I took my normal short route. I found a couple of aluminum cans and saw two dead birds. What's up with that? But I hadn't found any money. 

Then, just as I was turning the last corner to head home, I spotted these three pennies in the street! They were more in the gutter but who cares! 

And see how the one in front sparkles? It has a little pink rhinestone one it. Cash with bling!
