Found a Penny Under the Shopping Baskets at Dollar Tree

Today I had to go to the post office then I went to the battery store to replace the battery in my gate clicker. It's nice to have that working again. 

Then I went to Dollar Tree. I picked out a few things then when I was putting my hand shopping basket away, I spotted a penny on the floor. Woo hoo!

Found Three Pennies in a Drive Through and Parking Lot

Today I volunteered at the place I've been going for a few months for the last time. If you care to hear the drama, you can read it here. 

Then on the way home, I was steaming mad so I pulled in to the parking lot with the Little Caesar's drive through. I walked around to calm the heck down and found 2 pennies in the drive through (or is it drive thru?). Either way, there they were just waiting for me. Then I found another penny in the parking lot. Yippee! 

When I got home I posed the pennies next to this fierce guy (holding a crocheted basket). Rarrr!

Update:  While taking out the trash this evening, I found a penny in the parking lot! Yay! Four in one day.

Today was half off at Goodwill so I high tailed it over there. I didn't find one thing I could live without so as I was leaving the store, empty handed, for once, I spotted the 1949 penny on the floor! I love finding old coins like this!

Then as I was walking to my car, I spotted the shiny new penny! Have you found any coins or bills recently?

Found 63 Cents at Grocery Store and in My Parking Lot

Today I ran to Fresh and Easy for a few things (and to use the $5 off $20 purchase). I didn't find any money. Dang.

Then I drove to Fry's for some other groceries, and as soon as I walked in, I checked a couple of the change trays on the self-checkout registers. The first one had 53 cents in it! Woo hoo! Then I spotted a nickel on the floor and I walked on a bit and found a penny! Man oh man! Lots of lacksidasical people at the store today, I'd say. I shopped and drove home.

The battery in my clicker that opens the gate to my complex is dead so I stopped the car and got out to manually punch in the code. In the parking space right there were 4 pennies! If my clicker had been working, I would have just driven right by and missed them. Woo hoo again!

Found a Penny Today

Today I changed the filter to my air conditioner, then took it out to the dumpster. I walked around a bit and found a penny in the parking lot! It was near where I found the 32 cents on Thursday. Hmm. I wonder if I missed it then! No problem, I found it today!

Found Two More Pennies Today

Tonight I decided to take a little walk. It was still hot, about 101, but now that I'm home it's 98. Ugh. But there was a hot breeze blowing so I soldiered on. I walked around the office center parking lot and found a big fat nothing. 

So, I crossed the street and in an apartment building parking lot I found a penny! That motivated me to keep going, so I walked to the church a block or two up and found another penny in the parking lot there! Yay!

Found Change in the Parking Lots

Today I took my recycling out to the dumpster and then meandered around the parking lot a bit. At the front of the complex, I spotted a nickel! Then I looked through the open fence to the outside and saw what I thought was another nickel. 

Well, I high-tailed it through the gate, propping the gate door open with a rock since I didn't have my keys with me, to scope out that parking lot. I walked over to where I'd seen the coin. It was a quarter! 

And I found two pennies lying in the same parking space. Yahoo!

I think someone dropped this change and it just bounced here and there. I hope I didn't miss any!
