The big time!

Okay. I found some money tonight as I was leaving Fresh and Easy. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, Fresh and Easy is a neighborhood grocery store chain. I love it. I had been to my son's celebrating my grandkids' birthdays and stopped by because you can get in and out quickly. And they mark down things that have expiration dates of that day or the next. As someone who considers expiration dates as mere suggestions, this is my kind of place.

So, anyway, as I was leaving, on the pavement right in front of the store, there it was!  We're talking big bucks here. A quarter! Woo hoo! It was tail end up. Turns out it is a state quarter. Utah to be exact. Ta da!!!

This Found Money FACTS:
Denomination: 1 quarter
Year:  2007
U.S. Mint:  Denver
Condition:  dinged up
How many coins/bills found to date: 38
How much found money to date:  $.93

  1. Peggy, is a quarter your biggest find so far in one day? If you could find more of these, the total would quickly fill up. You should take a betting poll of how much money you'll find by the end of the year. That would really be interesting for people to watch the jar filling up. Pam
