Today I had to ship some Etsy items I sold so went to the post office. Score. No lines! Then I ran to the bank. On the way home, I parked in a church parking lot and got the trusty magnet and my junk bag from the trunk. I walked around and well, didn't find a whole lot.
The church bordered a tree farm/nursery so I walked the little alley between the two, and I mostly just enjoyed the peace and quiet. You'd never think you were in the middle of a big city like Phoenix. I wish I lived there! Anyway, I did find a penny in the dirt. No picture. It's not terribly remarkable looking. It looks like a penny.

My husband pointed out a penny in the parking lot yesterday. Guess I'm the designated penny-picker-upper in the family. He doesn't want them weighing down his pockets so they congregate in the bottom of my purse.
ReplyDeleteVirginia, thanks for the post. I'd recommended starting your very own found money jar. Mine is very heavy. I should use it as a weight!
