Found a Dime in the Parking Lot

This morning I called my sister and took a little walk outside while we chatted. I found a shiny dime in the parking lot!

UPDATE:  I walked to the store this evening and found 16 cents:  3 pennies in the street, 2 pennies on the floor of the store (and I watched the woman drop them, and her little brother or whoever he was who was with her, stooped to get one and she told him to "come on"... so that's how that happens!), a penny at a gas station, and four pennies and a nickel in a parking lot. 

So that makes 26 cents that I found today.

Found 7 Pennies Today on a Walk

This morning I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door and the air was actually sort of cool! It's been so hot lately, usually over 100°F most days for the high. But this morning it was in the low 80s! 

I took a walk!

On the way to the grocery store for a few things I forgot yesterday, I found two pennies in the street in two different places. Then I found two pennies in the parking lot, then three pennies on the floor of the grocery store. 

I'm glad I took a walk because now it's back up above 100. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

UPDATE:  I just took another short walk and found 2 more pennies! That makes 9 cents found today.

Found Four Coins in Two Drive Through Lanes

Today I braved the heat since it was "only" 89 out and took a walk. I walked through two fast food drive through lanes and here's what I found:

• a penny in one
• two pennies and a dime in the other

I was thrilled! 

I posed the money next to some beaded lanyards / badge holders that I have listed in my Etsy shop. One of the blue beads is a cute little ladybug bead. The other lanyard has African Christmas beads. Sweet!

UPDATE!  I just took a short walk (it's really nice out!) and found a beat up penny and a shiny dime, both in the street in different spots! That brings today's found money total to 24 cents!

Found Another 17 Cents

Earlier this week I found 17 cents (a dime and 7 pennies). Today I found 17 cents (a dime and 7 pennies). Go figure!

I went for a walk today and found the dime and 3 pennies first on a sidewalk then found 3 more pennies in the street. Next I walked through a car wash and found another penny.

While I was out I snapped some photos of padlocks. Yes, padlocks.

Update:  I just took a short walk and found a nickel!
