Found a Penny at the Gas Station

Today I had to take my cat to the vet and leave her to have some teeth pulled. I hate when that happens, especially since one of their instruments broke and they couldn't do the dental work today. Argh! They had Scarlett all ready to go with an IV in her poor little leg and everything. I'm just glad she didn't get put under since they couldn't have done what they needed to do. But man, isn't that pink bandage with purple hearts cute!?

I rarely fill up my gas tank because I rarely drive. I mean I drive here and there but since I work from home, I don't drive to work every day. I might drive to the post office or the grocery store or whatever a few days a week and it's usually just a few miles round trip.

Even though I don't have to fill up very often (once every 3 weeks is my average), I still like to get a good deal. I'd passed an ARCO gas station on the way to the vet's advertising regular unleaded for $3.15 a gallon. I went back there on my way home. As I was filling up, I spotted a penny on the ground. Yay!

I have two questions for you:  Where do you find money? How much is gasoline where you live?

  2. Gas (Petrol) in the UK is £1.31 a liter in my local petrol station at January 2013. That's $2.07 a liter. (4 UK liters to a gallon). That's expensive! Best places for finding money are at the bus station, on the bus and at the store.

  3. Wow that is really expensive! Our is at around $3.20 to $3.30 a gallon lately (January 2013). I don't take the bus much. Maybe I should! Thanks for dropping by Found Money in the Street.
