Found 4 Pennies Today

Today I drove a friend around to see some apartments and while out I found a penny in some rocks at one place then a penny in the parking lot at Wendy's and one inside. It had been so long since I'd been in a fast food restaurant that I had no idea how to use the drink machine. Weird.

Later today I took a short walk and found another penny in an apartment parking lot. Yay!

Found 4 Pennies While Running Errands

Today I was out all afternoon running errands. I found 4 pennies. Here's where:

• First I found a penny in the parking lot of the post office. 

• Then I found a penny in the gutter of the street. 

• Next I found a penny at a gas station under a water vending machine.

• I spotted the last penny out my car window while I was stopped at a red light. I unbuckled my seatbelt and hopped out and got it in plenty of time. I was all buckled back in by the time the light turned green. Yay!

Found 4 Pennies Today at a Water Vending Machine

Today I was at a shopping center and spotted four pennies in the area where you put your water bottle in one of those water vending machines. I personally use a water filter pitcher but was happy someone used this machine and left me some  coins to find!

Found 4 Pennies on a Store Floor

Today I sold a pillowcase on Etsy so I ran to the post office. While I was close I stopped by the dollar store to return a few things. While I was there, I found four pennies on the floor in three different spots. Yay!

Found 59 Cents at Fast Food Joint

Even though it's hotter than you know what out there, I took a walk just now. It didn't feel 106°F. Oh well, it was hot. And I walked slow.

I hadn't been out much yesterday so didn't find any money, and I was getting antsy for a walk and to find coinage. So, I walked to a fast food place and found 58 cents! Five dimes, a nickel, and three pennies. Then on the way home I found a penny in the street. Yay! 59 cents! 

That brings my 2014 found money total to $25!

Found 4 Cents on a Walk Today (and I didn't melt)

This morning I walked to the T-Mobile store to pay my bill. I didn't realize it didn't open until 10 a.m. so I had to wait almost 20 minutes. It was already hot (almost 90) out, but by the time I finished there and went across the street to get a few groceries it was really hot. I trudged on home and took a shower.

On the walk I found four pennies, so that part's good. I also found a play coin, a dime! But as they say, it's not worth a dime. Oh well. 

Today I started cleaning the sea shells I found on my trip. They were very stinky and now my house is stinky but it's from the bleach smell. I'll finish up soon with the bleach water and my house should be back to it's normal weird smelly place soon enough.

Found 74 Cents and Finished Painting Rocks

I just got home from a quick walk and look what I found! 74 cents!

I finished painting the rocks and gave them a coat of Mod Podge to shine them up and protect them a bit. To see them when I first started painting them, check out this post.

I'm off tomorrow on a vacation. I hope to find lots and gobs of money! I'm not sure if I'll post until I get home though. We'll see!

Found 14 Cents Today at the Grocery Store

Today I went to the grocery store and found 14 cents in the change tray! One of the pennies is an old wheat penny, a 1954 penny. The mint mark is S (San Francisco). I rarely find coins with the S mark.

I took my two grandkids to McDonald's after school and they found a ton of coins in the drive through at the first window where people pay. My granddaughter found 52 cents and my grandson 15 cents! I gave them each a quarter because I wanted one of the nickels she found. It was a 1954 just like the penny I found! What a coinky dink.
