I've been collecting the money I've found the past few days and since I hit the jackpot today, will write about it.

Monday I found 3 pennies.

Tuesday I found 2 pennies.

Today I found a quarter, 2 dimes, 1 nickel, and 11 pennies!

That makes 66 cents I found in the past three days. Yes sir!

Found Money Blog: 42 Cents Found Today

This morning I found a penny in the parking lot when I took out the trash. This afternoon I took a walk to the grocery store and on the way, I found a penny in the street, a penny at a fast food restaurant parking lot, a quarter in the street, then I went to the store. 

On the way home I found a penny and a dime under a bench at a bus stop, 2 pennies at a gas station by a trash can, and a 1955 wheat penny in the street. 

That makes 42 cents found today. How are you doing? Finding any money lately?

Today I walked to the grocery store and while inside the store I first found a penny near an aisle of food, then I found another penny in a checkout lane on the floor, and as I was leaving, I found a quarter on the floor. In the parking lot I found a penny by a car. 28 cents! Yay!

• 4 pennies, a nickel, and a quarter in a change tray at the grocery store

Found 43 Cents Riding My Bike

Well, that's not exactly true. I found a penny in my parking lot when I took out my trash then when I rode my bike I found the other 42 cents, but who's counting?

Anyway, here's where I found the 42 cents:

• a dime and a nickel in a bank parking lot
• a quarter in the street
• two pennies in a fast food drive through lane

I was pretty happy I found all the major coins! It's a little trickier getting the money I find when I'm riding my bike. I often see it as I ride by then have to stop and walk back to get it. It's not a problem, just a little trickier.

I posed these coins with a postcard I got recently from a friend. She used the back of a Cheez Its box to make the postcard. I love it! The white cheddar flavor is my favorite!

Found 68 Cents Today

Today I took two walks. This morning I walked to Goodwill since it was half off day. I found a penny in the parking lot on the way there.

Then this afternoon I took another walk and found a bunch of money! Here's what I can remember of where I found what:

• 5 pennies and 2 dimes in a fast food drive through
• a penny in bank drive through
• 2 pennies at a gas station on the sidewalk
• a dime in a parking space at an apartment building
• a quarter in the gutter of the street

I don't remember where I found the other 4 pennies, but find them I did! That makes 68 cents found today.

Merry Christmas from Found Money in the Street

I hope everyone had or is having a merry Christmas! I sure did! I'm tired though now.

I got a new bike for Christmas and took it out for a spin earlier. I'm sore! But while tooling around on it, I found 42 cents! Here's what and where:

• I first found a penny on a sidewalk.
• Then I found two pennies and a quarter in the street while crossing at an intersection. Good thing I was pushing my bike.
• Next I found a penny at a gas station then one at a fast food drive through lane.
• Next I found a dime in the street.
• Then I found two pennies in another drive through lane.
• I don't remember where I found the other penny.

And I didn't report a penny I found on Tuesday so will add it to today's total making it 43 cents found. Yay! This year was a great one for finding money. I'm eager to see how much more I find in the final six days of 2014.

Today I took a friend to the airport then went to a grocery store. I found a penny on the floor as I entered the store next to the corn on the cob bin.

Found Four Denominations of Coins Today

Today I found a quarter first in my parking lot when I took the trash out. Then I took a walk and found a penny on the sidewalk near a bus stop, then I found a nickel in a parking space, and then a dime on the floor at the grocery store. 

Woo hoo, four coins, four denominations! Then on my way home I found another penny on a sidewalk! So, that's 42 cents total.

I love finding all of different kinds of coins! I just wish I'd find all the paper bills one of these days:  a one, a five, a ten, a twenty. Yeah, those would be just fine! Or even just one of them.
