I Was Surprised Finding This Money

The past week plus I've found some surprising money. Just the other day in a coin machine change tray I found two Kennedy half dollars plus some other coins. Who just leaves those lying there? Well, someone did and I found them!

I also found three foreign coins this time:  a British penny and two Canadian coins (a dime and a quarter).

So, I found $2.37 total plus the foreign money, which I don't count.

I just love finding money so it's always a thrill. Have you found any money lately?

Happy Groundhog's Day from Found Money

Happy Groundhog's day! In celebration, Mister Tom Cat and I went outside and watched about 6 squirrels scampering up the tall pine trees in our yard. Mister had been watching them from the front window, his tale smacking the window, he was so excited! So I slung him over my shoulder and out we went.

Mister is such a good boy (most of the time) and I'm tempted to get him one of these:

Doesn't it look like fun? (I know, if you're a cat.)

It's a beautiful day here and this morning I ran some errands. But I didn't find ANY money! Dang it!

In the past week or so though, I've found $1.98 in change plus 2 Canadian 25-cent coins. Yay!

Have you found any money, foreign or domestic recently?

Found Money Around Town

Howdy! It's been a few weeks since I've posted but I've been finding money pretty regularly. Today in fact I found a quarter in a bowling alley parking lot. The other day I found some coins at the dollar store and the grocery store. There is lots of money lying around waiting to be found!

Besides the $2.48 I've found, I found a Canadian 25 cent piece and a 1977 Italian lira 50 cent coin. The lira went out of circulation in 1990 so this was a cool find!

I also saw some elk grazing this weekend. So cool!

Found a Jackpot at the Grocery Store with Lots of Foreign Coins

Today I ran some errands and at the grocery store there was a jackpot in the chain tray of the coin machine. No one was around so I scooped it up. I found $2+, including a 1940 Wheat penny. There were also quite a few foreign coins:

  • a quarter from Canada
  • a $1 coin from Hong Kong
  • one $10, two $5, two $1, and one 50 cent Mexican coins

So with today haul and what I had found previously, I found $2.41 plus those foreign coins and a play penny. Yee haw!

Here's a cool gift idea for a coin collector.

Found More Easter Candy Deals, a Canadian Quarter, and 37 Cents

Today is a gorgeous day here, cool and breezy. I love it! What I would give for more days like this!

Any way, I took a walk to take advantage of this lovely weather and found a bunch of coins--7 pennies, 3 dimes, and a 25 cent Canadian coin.

Here's where: in the street, in a Starbucks parking lot, on the floor of the grocery store, and in the change tray at the grocery store. Yay!

I bought some more discounted Easter candy. All the good stuff! Lindt and Dove and Cadbury and some Twix eggs. Yum!

In case you need some of your own, here you go!
