Found 15 Cents Today

Today was sort of overcast, cool and breezy, not unbearably hot at all so I spent some time off and on all day just moseying around. At one point I found a dime by a dumpster!

Then this evening I took a walk and found five pennies! One was in the street, three at a gas station all in different spots, and another in the street.

Found Money Blog: Found 15 Cents Today

Today I took a walk and found 14 cents. I had found a penny earlier when I dropped some mail at the post office. I love finding money!

Found 15 Cents at the Grocery Store

Today I walked to the grocery store, mostly just for the walk, but I bought a few fruits and vegetables while I was there. On the checkout thingie they provide for you to rest your purse, I found four pennies! Then I found a penny in the tray of the coin machine and a dime in the change tray of the copier. 

Great day for finding money!

Found Foreign Money: Coins from Three Countries

Today I walked to the grocery store and on my walk I found coins from three countries! It's international day at the Found Money in the Street blog!

Here's what I found:

• a penny in my parking lot
• a penny in the street (the gutter)
• another penny in the street (the gutter again), but this one was a Canadian penny
• a coin in the street as I was crossing the street that I thought was a nickel but it's  a 25-cent Aruba coin!
• a nickel and a penny in the grocery store parking lot
• a penny in a change tray at the grocery store
• a nickel in the copier change tray
• a penny in a parking lot

So, I found coins from the United States, Canada, and Aruba. Woo hoo! It had been awhile since I'd found any foreign coins. As usual, I'm not counting the Canada and Aruba coins in my found money total so that makes 15 cents found today. But the coins will go in my found money jar.

This 15 cents brings my 2014 found money total to more than $45! Woo hoo!

I Have Two Nickels to Rub Together (plus some pennies)

This morning I ran to the post office and parked at a shopping center across the street. While I was walking over to the post office I saw a nickel in the street then on found another nickel on the sidewalk in front of the post office! I think nickels are the least common coin I find so this was something! 

Now I have two nickels to rub together. I'm rich! 

Then I went to the dollar store and found two pennies on the floor. I also bought about 13 items. I never think I need anything there but found all sorts of stuff today. Do you do that, too?

This afternoon I took a walk and found three pennies:  

• one as I was crossing the street so, yes, I found money in the street
• one at a gas station
• one in a fast food drive through

I posed these coins next to one of the saguaro cactus ornaments I made. They're available in my Etsy shop (just click the link up yonder). 

I saw hundreds of these cacti for real yesterday while driving. I stopped and took a few photos. Here's one.

I'm almost to $40 for this year! Hard to believe that just picking up mostly pennies, I've found this much! There is money out there to be found. Have you found any of it lately?

Today I took a walk and while I was out here's what I found:

• 2 pennies and a Mexican coin in a coin machine tray
• a penny and a dime on the floor of the grocery store

Found 15 Cents at Two Shopping Centers

This morning I had a screening for a drug study and on the way home, I stopped at a grocery store for a few things. On the way out, I spotted a penny on the sidewalk!

Then I stopped at another shopping center where I've found some money before. I didn't need a thing there, just moseyed around looking for coins. I'm glad I did! I found two pennies in a drive through lane, a penny on the sidewalk, a dime in a parking space, and another penny in the parking lot. 

I just love finding money! I posed them next to some skull earrings I made. I'll take these to a gift shop today or tomorrow.
