Found 32 Cents Today

This morning I took my car to get my oil changed and while they were working on it, I walked and talked to my sister. I was lucky! I found 6 pennies in various parking lots and a quarter under a water vending machine. Then this evening at the grocery store, I found another penny. That makes 32 cents found today!

Today I went to get an oil change (in my car, not my hair!) and while they were doing that, I walked to the post office. 

It was a little over a mile one way so I didn't have to wait at all for my car. I was moving the whole time (other than when I was standing in line at the post office, of course). And when I got back, my car was done.

On the way to the post office, I walked through the islands at a gas station and found two pennies. Later at the grocery store, I found three pennies in the change tray then a penny in the parking lot! Yay! 

So, with these six pennies, I'm at $7.77 for 2014.

HOLD THE PHONE! I just went outside and found another penny in the rocks. Woo hoo!

Found Money: Two Pennies at Two Stores

Today I got my yearly oil change. Yes, that's right. It had been almost exactly a year since I had my oil changed last. I just don't drive that much these days! 

So, while I was in the neighborhood I had to hit the local Fresh and Easy and the 99 Cent store. At each, I found some great bargains and a penny in the middle of the floor in front of the cash registers. I posed the pennies next to some patches I'm listing in my Etsy shop.
