I posed the three pennies on my "new" coffee table. I found this little wooden chest Saturday at Goodwill. I just love it! Scarlett, my cat, is trying to get in on the action. See her paw?
Here's another shot of it. Isn't adorable!? I don't have much space and it's small and already a mess so it's perfect! I'm not much for new stuff since it doesn't seem to stay looking new very long for me.

Hi. Finding 3 quarters at one time was cool! Yesterday I found 2 pennies (2001 and 2011) at a gas station when we were filling up the tank. My husband found a penny too...but I am not adding that to my total. Today I was in Cleveland and found 2 more pennies (2012 and unreadable) on the sidewalk. ReplyDeleteI like your list of facts about pennies. Here in Canada, the Royal Mint will no longer be making pennies. In a few months, all cash transactions will be rounded up to the nearest 5cents. As people start taking their pennies to the bank, part of me is a little sad that there will be fewer and fewer of those "I found a penny. Yeah me!" moments. I can only hope that they'll be replaced by "I found a nickel! Yeah me!" moments. Have a great day! - Sarah Marie
