This first month of the new year is about gone. Since my last post, I've found 57 cents. I'm happy with that. Where did I find the coins? The usual places: parking lots, coin machine trays, floors of stores, you get the idea.
Where have you found money lately? I love hearing about where people find money and the amount they found.
Facts About This Found Money
Denomination: 12 pennies, 1 nickel, 4 dimes
Year: too many to mess with
U.S. Mint: same

Find a penny, pick it up, and all day you'll have good luck. Find a penny, leave it lay, and you will live to rue the day.

Someone dropped a pound on the crossing outside work, so I acquired that. Others have dropped 5p pieces here and there about the campus, glinting to my eagle eye. My husband contributed over £30 in change from his mancave in the last month when he started to clear bits and pieces and revealed the shrapnel. I went in after him, gathered and counted it, then paid it all into the bank this week.
ReplyDeleteYay! Isn't it fun finding money!? I'm off on a walk and hope to find some coins. Bills would be good, too!
