A little bit ago I scooped the litter box and took out the trash. Then I walked around the parking lot. Hadn't done that in a few days. I found a shiny penny then a grimy dime. Yippee!
I'm reading this book, The Dog Stars by Peter Heller. I think I'll finish it today, while I'm up and at 'em. I usually read in bed at night but this one is so good, I want to be wide awake. This book started off kind of strange, but I love it!
In this novel, a flu has wiped out 99 percent of the population, but Hig survived. He flies his single-engine plane around Colorado and the surrounding area to scope out what's happening. One long trip changes everything. I have to finish it to see how it ends.
You can check out The Dog Stars on Amazon if you're interested. Just click the book shown to the right.
