So, today only one clerk was on duty; she was to the left of the "nickel." She called me up, I mailed my packages, then on the way out I slid this thing out from under the counter. Guess what it was? No, it wasn't a nickel after all. It was one of those round, flat batteries. Dang. No wonder no one had snagged it!
Off I went to Trader Joe's. I didn't really need anything, but I wanted a bottle of 3 Buck Chuck. So I grabbed a bottle and some Trader Joe's coffee and headed up to pay. On the floor near the register I spotted this dime! Yay!
I made the two little kitties, who are posing by the dime, from a pattern in this book, Microcrafts: Tiny Treasures to Make and Share.
What are you all doing for Memorial Day? I'm staying home, writing some articles, and watching movies. Hope we all spot some money though whatever we do!
