I took my magnet for a walk (it needs lots of exercise) and picked up plenty of junk. I also spotted three pennies and one pressed penny!
I sort of collect pressed pennies (also called flat pennies, elongated coins, smashed pennies) because when I see a machine, I get a few for my grandkids. I don't really keep them myself though.
This one is from the Phoenix Zoo, and even though I washed it, it's still sort of dirty. I'll try cleaning it and checking to see which of my grandkids want it. I decided not to keep it for my found money jar since it's smashed. ;o)

We found a quarter the other day in the grocers parking lot (going in)...and it's already been spent. :) Peggy, how can I subscribe to your blog so I'll be emailed when you post?
ReplyDeleteHi Pam, congratulations on the found quarter! Woo hoo! You know, I wasn't sure about how to subscribe by email but when I just looked, there is a "Subscribe by email" link directly below this box! I bet if you click it, it will ask for your email address! Good luck!
