So, I thought about posting my end of 2021 found money report on December 31 then I promptly forgot.
Then I thought about it yesterday, the first day of 2022. Then I also forgot.
So, here I sit waiting for it to be 7 pm so I can watch two new PBS shows. Yeah, I live an exciting life! But to me it is exciting, and that's all that matters. Right?
Since I have a few minutes to kill (31 minutes to be precise) I have plenty of time to write this and tally up the coins I've found since the end of November. And bills, I should add! Not just coins. Yay!Here goes: The exciting part of this found money is that I didn't really find any bills, but I did find a scratch ticket on the floor of a store. You had to match up an animal and the already scratched ticket had two of the animals with $1 next to them, so I was pretty sure I was going to win two smackers. I took the ticket to the store and yep, it was a winner! A two-dollar winner. The clerk asked it I wanted tickets or money. I took the cash-ola and added the two one-dollar bills to my little found money pot. Why not? I found the ticket and it got me two dollars.
And of course I found coins: $4.24 worth! So with the $2 plus the coins, I found $6.24.
That added to my found money total so far brings the year end found money to a grand total of $57.52. Not bad. Not my best year for finding money but not bad.
I've been kicking around the idea of getting a new TV. My old one still works (mostly) but I have an old (very old) Roku box I use and it doesn't support some apps and the power button on my remote no longer works so, there's that. Hmmm. Should I do it? I might. I'm working up to it.
How about you? Have you found any money lately?
