Found $6.63 in Five Days

The past five days I've found a whopping $6.63! The clincher was tonight on my walk. I found a five dollar bill in a parking lot! Here's a breakdown of what I found when:

• Sunday, August 23:  33 cents (8 pennies, 1 quarter)
• Monday, August 24:  8 cents (3 pennies, 1 nickel)
• Tuesday, August 25:  29 cents (9 pennies, 2 dimes)
• Wednesday, August 26:  23 cents (3 pennies, 2 dimes)
• Thursday, August 27:  $5.70 (5 pennies, 4 dimes, 1 quarter, 1 $5 bill)

I found this money in all of the usual places:  drive through lanes, in the street, on the floor of stores, in parking lots and at gas stations, in change trays at the grocery store, in pay phone change trays, and more.

With this windfall, I've found more than $71 so far this year. Have you had much luck finding money? I sure hope so!

In the past five days I've found a nice little chunk of change:  $3.21!

• Tuesday, August 18:  37 cents (12 pennies, 1 quarter)
• Wednesday, August 19:  33 cents (3 pennies, 3 dimes)
• Thursday, August 20:  $1.63 (8 pennies, 3 dimes, 1 quarter, a dollar bill!)
• Friday, August 21:  23 cents (3 pennies, 2 dimes)
• Saturday, August 22:  66 cents (5 pennies, 1 dime, 2 quarters)

I found this money all over the place:  in the street, on the floor of stores, in parking lots and at gas stations, in change trays at the grocery store, in pay phone change trays, and more.

I love finding money! I can't believe I've found more than $65 so far this year. How about you?

Over the past six days I found $1.12. Here's the breakdown:

• Wednesday, August 12:  13 cents (3 pennies, 1 dime)
• Thursday, August 13:  49 cents (4 pennies, 2 dimes, 1 quarter)
• Saturday, August 15:  8 cents (8 pennies)
• Monday, August 17:  43 cents (23 pennies, 2 dimes)

3 Days, 27 Cents

The past three days have been okay as far as finding money goes. Not great, but okay. 

Sunday I found 15 cents (10 pennies and a nickel) plus a 5 cent Euro coin! As usual, I won't count the Euro in my found money total.

Monday I found just 4 pennies.

Today I found 3 pennies and a nickel.

I found this money at a gas station, a car wash, parking lots, in the street, and on the floor of a store.

Found Money Blog: 3 Days, $1.30 Found

Over the last 3 days I've found a bunch of coins. Here's what and when:

• Thursday, August 6:  73 cents
• Friday, August 7:  11 cents
• Saturday, August 8:  46 cents

Coins of note include a penny that was stuck in the tar in a parking lot. I used my car key to pry it free. Of course one side of it has a big glob of tar on it, but it's good enough for my found money jar!

This $1.30 pushes my 2015 found money total over the $60 mark for the year! Woo hoo!!!
