Found Two Cents

Today I ran to Carl's Jr. and found a penny in the street and a penny on the floor. Yay!

Today I've been culling some my old books that I've collected through the years. I can remember looking at library books sales, thrift stores, and estate and garage sales and finding these. 

And even though I really like some of them, I don't need them. I never look at them any more, so it's time for them to go to a new home. Check them out on Etsy, if you'd like.

Found 23 Cents Today but Only Have 22 Cents

This morning I had to run to the post office. After I left there, I found a penny in the street then a dime in a parking spot. I was thrilled, and then I found another dime at the grocery store, but somewhere between there and home I lost the penny! Man! That is the first time in 5 years of my found money collecting for this blog that that's happened! Shoot.

But this evening I took a walk and found two pennies in the street, so today I actually found 23 cents but can only claim 22 cents for my blog.

Found 3 Silver Coins This Evening

I just went to the grocery store and while out I found 3 silver coins. Well, they're silver colored, not all silver but that's okay. 

I found a dime and quarter at a coffee shop then a dime under a water vending machine.

Found a Mess of Pennies Today!

I ran a few errands today and found a mess of pennies. Here's where:

• 2 in my parking lot
• 5 next to a trash can in front of a store
• 1 on the floor of the thrift store
• 2 in the library parking lot
• 1 in a random parking space
• 3 in the grocery store parking lot

Yay! I just love days like this when I keep spotting money. I wish some had been silver but 14 cents is just fine with me!

Oh and see that key? I found that today, too. It's a pocket knife! I found some of these pocket knife keys on Amazon in case you don't find one of these and you want one, too.

Found 5 Pennies But Only Brought Home 2

Tonight I was able to go for another short walk since the weather is cooperating! I love that the worst of the heat seems to be behind us, at least for now.

So, on my walk I turned a corner and almost immediately saw something shiny in the street. It was round so I figured with luck it was a coin or maybe a washer or something else. Sure enough, it was a penny. An embedded penny. Then I walk on and found another. Then about half a block away, another. Dang! I was disappointed to say the least.

Then I was stopped at a corner and spotted two more pennies in the street. These were just sitting there though so I was able to pick them up and bring them home! Yippee!

Found a Penny on the Sidewalk

Yesterday it cooled down enough to take a walk, so I walked to the grocery store and on the way home I found a penny on the sidewalk!

Found a Penny in a Parking Lot

Today after leaving a grocery store, I spotted a penny in a parking space two down from my car.

Do you stop and pick up just a penny? (If you read my blog, you know I do each and every time EXCEPT today I was driving and spotted a penny outside my car. I was stopped at a light but the light turned green and I didn't have time to get out and get it. Darn!)

Found a Penny in Front of My Car

This evening I decided I wanted pizza. I had everything to make it but I wanted pepperoni on it. I didn't have that. 

So, off to the store I went. I got a few other things I needed and it was a little cooler out so all and all, even though I was hungry, it was okay to run up and get a few things. 

In the store I saw a penny under a ledge for the self-checkout lane clerk. He was standing there though so I couldn't get it. Dang!

When I was walking back to my car, I saw a penny in front of it in the parking space. Yay! Found one after all!

Today my grandson and I went to the post office and after leaving there he found a penny in a parking lot and a dime on the floor of the Dollar Tree. I found a penny somewhere. 

I just asked my grandson where I found my penny and he couldn't remember either. Even though it wasn't very memorable, I found it.
