I know it's been awhile since I last posted (2 months to the day), and that's normal for me. So no biggie. Right? My one big find in these past 2 months was one day when I was walking into a store. I was in the parking lot, almost to the doors of the store. On the pavement, I noticed a white envelope, like you get from a bank or credit when you withdraw cash. So... I scooped it up.
I was actually excited thinking it might be full of big bills, and lots of them! And my mind next went to: "Well, I'm sorry if someone lost this if it has lots of cash inside. What would I do then?"
I looked inside, and it had six bills inside, which isn't bad. But they were all dollar bills. So, that's okay. I wasn't worried about someone losing that amount of money and immediately thought, "Okay, I can keep this money without much worry about who lost it."
I mean, sure, if someone really needed it, that would be sad, but it's not as sad as if they lost $120 (if the 6 bills had all been twenties and not ones).
Anyway, I got over all that right quick and felt lucky!
In addition to the $6 I found, I found quite a bit of change: $3.80 worth! That makes $9.80 I found in 2 months. And that's a lot to me in that amount of time.
Oh, and I found a Mexican coin. Yay! Love finding foreign coins.
I'm gearing up to make some found object robots and will be using a rotary tool to help me out. We'll see how it goes.
So, what about you? Found any money lately?
